Rather than building care around rushed, insurance-driven visits, the membership creates more room for thoughtful medical care, longer-term planning, communication, and continuity with Dr. Torpey.

This is not traditional insurance-based primary care, and it is not a high-volume, bargain membership model.

It is a more personalized physician relationship for patients who value time, access, prevention, chronic disease management, and having a doctor who understands their history and medical context.

Traditional Direct Primary Care, often called DPC, uses a monthly membership model instead of routinely billing insurance for primary care visits.

Transformational Family Medicine builds on that concept but is intentionally designed as a more comprehensive, relationship-focused model of care.

The emphasis is not simply on access to office visits. It is on developing an ongoing physician-patient relationship centered on prevention, chronic disease management, healthy aging, medication review, long-term planning, and thoughtful medical guidance.

Members receive care directly from Dr. Torpey within a smaller, more personal physician panel.

Patients should maintain health insurance or other appropriate coverage for medical services outside the scope of the membership, including:

• Emergency room and hospital care
• Surgery
• Specialist services
• Imaging
• Outside laboratory testing
• Prescription medication costs
• Services performed outside our office

Transformational Family Medicine is a primary care membership and is separate from other programs and elective services offered by Transformational Medicine and Spa, including:

• Medical weight loss and metabolic medicine programs
• GLP-1 medication costs
• SculptologyMD body contouring and aesthetic services
• Venus Legacy treatments
• EMShape Neo-X treatments
• Laser hair reduction
